Statement to Litigation with the Federal Trade Commission Regarding AdvaCal
It has come to our attention that misleading statements have been made
on the internet and elsewhere regarding litigation between the United States
Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) and the United
States distributor of AAA Calcium (sold in the United States as AdvaCal),
Lane Labs-USA, Inc. (“Lane Labs”).
While it is true that the FTC
has challenged the sufficiency of the scientific substantiation for Lane
Labs’ claims regarding AdvaCal’s benefits, it is also true that Lane Labs
has vigorously denied the FTC’s claims.
The allegations of the FTC
remain that, allegations, that have yet to be proven in a United States
court.
We stand behind the research regarding the benefits of AAA Calcium/AdvaCal.
Dr.
Fujita has submitted a detailed declaration, under oath, in which he explains
the nature of the research that he conducted, responding to the arguments made
by the expert hired by the FTC, Dr. Robert Heaney.
Fujix, the manufacturer of AAA Calcium, and distributors in the world remain
committed to bringing beneficial products to the market place for the advance
